2019 Spring Baseball & Girls Softball Registration Will Be Open Soon!

Registration will be open soon for the 2019 Spring Baseball & Girls Softball season! Stay tuned for details! We’re wrapping up the 2018 Fall Season and looking forward to sharing the holidays with our friends and family. Then we’ll be gearing up for the Spring Season!

We hope to build on an exciting 2019 Spring season and make MSA the place to play baseball, girls softball and flag football in Mandarin and its surrounding area. Go MSA!

MSA Fall Festival 2018

2018 Fall Festival at MSA

When? Friday, October 26th. Trunk or Treat and activities from 5pm to 9pm, with the option to camp overnight until 10am Saturday morning

Where? Palmetto Leaves Regional Park (Softball Fields) 5254 Greenland Rd.

Come and join us for MSA’s first ever Fall Festival!!

General Admission wristbands – $15 each
Includes unlimited inflatables and hayrides, face painting, S’mores, and one trip through the Trunk or Treat area

VIP Campsite Admission wristbands – $40/campsite covers 6 people per 12’ x 12’ site (can add up to 4 more people for $5 each )

Includes all of the above for each member of your party, plus your choice of campsite, late
night movie (Sandlot) and/or Glow in the Dark Kickball

Costume contest with 4 prizes per age division! (3-8 years old, 9-12, and 13+)

Concessions will be open and serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and Domino’s pizza for dinner,
plus popcorn and all of your favorite movie snacks! We will also have an ice cream truck
onsite. Concessions will reopen for a pancake breakfast at 8am Saturday morning.

Schedule of Events

  • 5:00 pm – Trunk or Treating, face painting, and inflatables begin
  • 6:00 pm – Concessions opens and hayrides begin
  • 6:30 pm – Ice cream truck arrives
  • 8:00 pm – Hayrides end, Costume Contest begins
  • 8:45 pm – Movie starts
  • 9:00 pm – Trunk or Treating and inflatables end
  • 9:15 pm – Glow in the Dark Kickball begins
  • 10:00 pm – Concessions closes
  • 11:00 pm – Kickball and Movie end, “lights out”
  • 8:00 am – Concessions reopens for breakfast
  • 10:00 am – Campout ends, Concessions closes

Festival/Campsite Rules

  • NO SMOKING, VAPING, OR USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND inside the park. You must go to the parking lot.
  • NO Alcohol or illicit drugs of any kind
  • NO foul language – please remember that this is a family event and behave appropriately
  • NO weapons of any kind
  • NO pets allowed in the camping area – Registered Service Animals are permitted
  • NO candles, open flames, generators or other gas powered items allowed in the camping area
  • NO violent or lewd costumes – again, please remember that this is a family event and choose your costume appropriately

What? ​Tournament for both travel and rec teams in the 8U – 14/16U age divisions
How much? $300 per team ​

  • Separate divisions for Rec and Travel teams with a max of 5 teams per age group in
    each division
  • Two seeding games into single elimination – 3 games guaranteed
  • Play will begin Friday evening at 6pm, with a brief luminaria ceremony at sundown to
    honor those fighting as well as survivors
  • Profits from tournament fees and concessions’ sales, will go to the St. John’s Relay for
    Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society.
  • We would like to honor Survivors and remember those who have been lost through a
    “Warrior Wall” at the front of the park. Stars and Moons will be available for a $1
    donation and will be posted on the wall for the duration of the tournament.

2018 Fall Baseball & Girls Softball Registration Is Open!

Registration is open for the 2018 Fall Baseball & Girls Softball season!  Regular registration will remain open through Monday, September 3.  Times and location for evaluations will be announced in mid-August by the league directors for all age groups.  The season is tentatively set for October 1st through November 17th.

6U @ 10:00 on Field 1

8U @ 10:00 on Field 4

10U @ 10:00 on Field 2

12U @ 11:00 on Field 2

14U and 16U @ 11:00 on Field 1

Baseball @ Alberts Field

5U @ 12:15 on Field 5

6U LAST NAME of child begins with letter A-L @ 1:00 on Field 5

6U LAST NAME of child begins with letter M-Z @ 2:00 on Field 5

8U @ 3:00 on Field 4

10U @ 2:00 on Field 2

12U and 15U – TBD. League director will email when set.

All players are asked to attend. If you cannot attend, please contact your league director for the make up time. All players should bring a glove and, if they own, a bat, helmet and cleats.

Friendly reminder that this is the LAST WEEK to register for MSA’s 2018 Winter Flag Football league! Registration will remain open through Saturday December 2nd. Evaluations are set for December 2nd at Alberts Field – 12073 Brady Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223 – as follows:
6U & 8U @ 9:00am
10U & 12U @ 10:00am
14U & 16U @ 11:00am
